Raul Castillo Martial Arts is dedicated to the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate, and the self improvement of all its students. The academy is focused on promoting an atmosphere of discipline, respect, humility, and fun.
Our classes require traditional martial arts etiquette such as bowing on and off the mats, not talking when the instructor is talking, sitting or standing in straight lines by hierarchy, and Gi (Uniforms/Belt) for Martial Arts classes.
Raul Castillo Martial Arts Academy has no tolerance for arrogance, egos, or politics. Be humble and know there is always more to learn and always room for improvement. It is expected that students show appreciation and respect to the teachers, the school, and training partners. They are here to help you and you are here to help them.
As with all physical fitness and athletic endeavors, there are risks involved in participation. We are firm with all students that all skills and techniques learned at Raul Castillo Martial Arts are forbidden to be used outside of our supervised class facility unless needed to defend oneself.
